Our ambassadors

We are incredibly proud to have a number of great talents and personalities as ambassadors for BACKTEE. Below is a brief presentation of our current TEAM BACKTEE.

01

Morten Ørum Madsen

Morten Ørum Madsen from Silkeborg has had Silkeborg Ry Golf Club as his home club since he started playing golf in 2000. Morten turned pro on April 9, 2011, which was also the day he first signed an agreement with BACKTEE, where he is now back.

Morten, who has triumphed on the big stage, has the goal of continuing to win tournaments and getting back on the DP World Tour. More generally, the plan is to put in a good training effort every single day in all areas of the game and himself, thereby putting himself in a position to unfold the potential he himself and we know he has.

Number of hole-in-ones : I have made 7 total, 5 in tournaments (2 on the European Tour).

Behind : Titleist, Vokey and Scotty Cameron, which has been the case since he was 16 years old. Today Morten is 34 years old.

Biggest tournament win : 5 wins as a pro including the 2013 SA Open on the European Tour.

02

Oliver Hundeboell

Oliver Hundebøll from Silkeborg has had Silkeborg Ry Golf Club as his home club since he was 8 years old.

Oliver turned pro at the beginning of 2019 and plays on the Challenge Tour.
In July 2022, Oliver made his debut on the DP World Tour with a 5th place finish.

Number of hole in ones : I've made two.

The bag : I play with Taylormade throughout the bag.

Biggest tournament win : It definitely has to be the Challenge Tour in South Africa - Mangaung Open.

Future goals in golf : My goal is to get back on the DP World Tour and win on the DP.

Greatest golf experience : It was winning the Challenge Tour.

Juvenile course : Yas Links in Abu Dhabi

Other interests : I play a lot of padel, but I'm generally crazy about all sports. But when I'm not out playing golf, I spend my time with my friends and family.

03

Peter Launer Bæk

Peter Launer Bæk has Odense Eventyr Golf as his home club.
Peter turned pro in 2018.

Number of hole in ones : 2 at the age of 10 and 28

Bag : Wilson Staff irons, ball and glove, Titleist clubs and weights, Odyssey putter

Biggest tournament win : Tinderbox Charity Challenge 2018 and Great Northern Challenge 2021

Future goals in golf : To become the best golfer possible and to get on the DP World Tour and win.

Biggest golf experience : Representing Denmark at the World Championship (Eisenhower Trophy) in Mexico

Youth track : Silkeborg (south-west)

Other interests : Padel and mountain biking

04

Joachim B. Hansen

Joachim B. Hansen is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour.

He has won twice on the European Tour, first in South Africa at the Joburg Open. His second victory came at the end of 2021 when he won the AVIV Dubai Championship.

05

Oliver Suhr

Oliver Suhr has Rungsted Golf Club as his home club.
Oliver turned Pro in 2007 and currently plays on the ECCO Tour.

Number of hole in ones : I think it's 5. However, I remember many other wild shots that have gone into the hole over the years.

The Bag : I play with Titleist throughout the bag.
Pw-9 CB
8-6 T100
5-4 T150
Driver: Titleist
3 wood: Titleist
Hybrid: Titleist
Putter: ScottyCameron

Biggest tournament win : So my win on the Ecco Tour in 2016 was something really special. First of all, it was my first win after my accident and I had only just made the cut on the track.

Future goals in golf : Fortunately, golf does not have an age like many other sports. That's good for a now middle-aged Nordic League player like me. Of course, I still dream of a higher level and the DP World tour. As long as I play somewhere where I can develop and the competition is great, I think golf is the world's coolest game and workplace.

Greatest golf experience : I think golf gives you so much in many different ways. It could be the course, the surroundings, the self, the result, yes there are many things that come into play. But the whole journey I've been on over the years has been a huge experience.

Youth course : I have a number of favorite courses in Denmark, and most of them are older. My home course Rungsted is very special to me, and has been my second home for many, many years. Otherwise, there are Esbjerg, Silkeborg, Holstebro, Hvide Klit. But if I were to retire and play the same course 3-4 times a week, I would belong in Rungsted.

Other interests : My free time is spent with my family. I have 2 children, ages 1 and 5, and I love fooling around with them.
