Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this agreement without giving any reason within 14 days. 

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Your 14-day right of withdrawal means that, as a customer, you can receive the goods, unpack them and see whether they are as expected.

In the case of several different goods ordered in one order but delivered separately (i.e. separate deliveries), the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (see contact details below) of your decision to withdraw from this agreement by an unequivocal statement (e.g. by letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the standard withdrawal form enclosed in the package. You may also use this standard withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory. 

The withdrawal period is observed if you send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal
If you exercise your right of withdrawal under this agreement, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (but not additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement. We will make such reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have provided evidence of having returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

If you have withdrawn from the purchase, the purchase price and the shipping costs you paid when placing the order will be refunded by transfer to your bank account once we have received the goods back and checked that they comply with the withdrawal rules. However, reimbursement of delivery costs does not apply in the event of partial withdrawal. See the separate section on this. The buyer is responsible for the costs of returning goods to BACKTEE.

You must return the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of exercising the contractual right of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days.

We recommend that you keep the postal receipt as proof that you have handed the package over to the post office/carrier.

You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

PLEASE NOTE - We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or similar. Return packages must NOT be sent to a parcel shop/parcel locker; these packages will not be collected and will therefore be returned to the sender.

Partial withdrawal
If you only wish to withdraw from part of your purchase, the above conditions still apply. However, in the event of partial withdrawal, you will not be reimbursed for delivery costs.
